Based on our commitment to always participating in advancing education in Indonesia, a workshop in the theme of Computer Based Experiment System Application in Science Learning Process Training was held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Pudak Training Center, Jl. Mekar Raya Kav. 12 Gedebage, Bandung. The main speaker of this workshop was Dr. Hendro, M.Sc.
In this training, we invited participants to do scientific experiments in a different way. The experiments include:
Measurement of temperature changes against human heart rate.
Acid-base titration, modeling of gastric acid reflux symptoms and acid reflux medication usage (pH measurement).
Measurement of body mass in water (Archimedes' Law).
Simulation of punching speed by using motion sensor.
Measurement of force and deviation on a simple swing.
Measurement of the voltage on the magnetic induction results.
Matching the position graph against time.
Observing sound wave graph, determining the frequency value and observing the sound beat symptoms on the tuning fork.
Experiments on lifting a heavier mass by the lighter mass.
By doing these experiments the participants was able to immediately notice the difference between doing experiment conventionally and by using the Computer-Based Experiments System (CBES). The difficult measurement and data analysis in conventional experiment will be easier, more accurate, and more effective by using the Computer-Based Experiments System.
